Technology Support Specialist- Level 1QualificationsAssociates degree in a related technical field or equivalent training.A+ Certification or equivalent training and experience.Experience working in an academic institution, preferably K-12 education, strongly preferred.Demonstrated knowledge of information system hardware and software troubleshooting skills and problem resolution.Ability and willingness to learn new systems and technology.Demonstrated ability in handling confidential matters in an ethical manner.Knowledge of principles and practices of network design and administration.Sound organizational skills and an ability to recognize and change work priorities in a timely fashion.Valid Tennessee driver's license is required for travel between district school buildings.Please see attached job description for further details.*
