HR Operations Coordinator (Contract)Duration: June – OctoberPay Rate: $35-45/HRStart: Early June (with training period)We are seeking a professional to join our team on a contract basis, supporting day-to-day HR operations during a team member's leave of absence. This role will begin with a structured training period to ensure a smooth transition and continuity across key HR processes.This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, thrives on organization, and takes pride in delivering a strong employee experience in the vibrant town of Zionsville.What You'll Be DoingOnboarding & New Hire ExperienceServe as the primary point of contact for new hires throughout the onboarding processCoordinate onboarding communications, meeting scheduling, and task completionManage the onboarding inbox and respond to inquiries in a timely, professional mannerEnsure all required compliance and new hire documentation is completed accurately and on timeBackground Checks & ComplianceTrack and monitor background check completion, following up as needed to ensure timelines are metEscalate any issues to appropriate teams to maintain complianceMaintain and manage I-9 documentation, including initial verification and re-verification processesPayroll & HR Operations SupportAssist with payroll and timekeeping tasks as neededProcess one-time payments in HR systems, ensuring accuracy and approvalsEmployee & Manager SupportProvide responsive, high-quality support to employees and managersAddress inquiries with professionalism and a customer-service mindsetWhat We're Looking ForExperience supporting onboarding and/or background check processesFamiliarity with HR systems (Workday experience is a plus)Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalDetail-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving approachAbility to work independently while collaborating across teamsSeniority Level: AssociateIndustry: InsuranceEmployment Type: ContractJob Functions: Human ResourcesSkills: Human Resources (HR), Training, Onboarding, Timelines, Problem Solving, New Hires, HR Operations, Communication, Recruiting, Development ApprovalsGSD Search is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
