Job Duties: Develop, update, and maintain mechanical designs, engineering drawings, and technical data packages for AN/SLQ-32 hardware and supporting equipment. Create and revise Installation Control Drawings (ICDs), assembly drawings, detail drawings, and shipboard installation packages. Generate and validate 3D CAD models, assemblies, and engineering documentation using industry-standard mechanical design tools. Review mechanical designs for accuracy, manufacturability, maintainability, and compliance with program requirements. Support Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Technical Data Package (TDP) updates, and configuration management activities. Verify model dimensions and drawing requirements against engineering standards and released documentation. Convert and migrate engineering drawings and models between CAD platforms while maintaining configuration control. Support design reviews, technical interchange meetings, working groups, and engineering assessments. Conduct engineering investigations and root-cause analyses related to hardware performance, installation issues, and fleet-reported deficiencies. Assist with shipboard integration activities, modernization efforts, and product improvements supporting fleet readiness. Qualifications Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and zero (0) years of experience. Ability to develop technical reports, engineering analyses, recommendations, and corrective actions. Ability to coordinate with electrical, systems, logistics, manufacturing, and government engineering personnel throughout the design lifecycle. Must be able to obtain an Interim Secret Clearance.
