If you believe that carpentry can be a vehicle for creativity, storytelling, and purpose, this could be the place you stay and growCompensation:$24 - $27$2 / hr shift differential (on 2nd shift)Shift:1st shift - 6:30am - 3:00pm2nd shift - 3:00pm - 11:30pmMonday - FridayResponsibilitiesCabinet & Set Construction - Build large-scale cabinetry, frames, and scenic elements using traditional and modern woodworking techniques.Blueprint Interpretation - Read and build from shop drawings, assembly instructions, and production plans with precision and minimal supervision.Joinery & Assembly - Execute basic to intermediate joinery, subassemblies, and final component builds to meet functional and aesthetic goals.Component Finishing Prep - Collaborate with finishing and paint teams to ensure components are prepped and ready for downstream processes.Material Handling & Tool Use - Operate saws, routers, drills, and other power tools safely and confidently in a busy production environment.CNC Collaboration - Interface with CNC operators to fabricate, trim, and assemble routed components and pre-machined parts.Inventory & Shop Support - Track part usage, request supply replenishment, and help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work alongside fabrication, paint, tech, and installation teams to ensure final product meets quality and performance goals.R&D Support - Contribute to the development and prototyping of new components, props, and scenic systems.RequirementsQualificationsWoodworking Experience - 3+ years of carpentry, cabinetry, scenic construction, or general fabrication; trim and finish carpentry a plus.Blueprint Literacy - Comfortable interpreting build drawings, exploded views, and parts lists.Tools & Equipment - Proficient in power tool safety and use; familiarity with shop equipment and layout best practices.Mechanical Aptitude - Strong hands-on ability to solve problems and build functional, aligned components.Production Focus - Able to meet deadlines, follow workflows, and support high-throughput production goals without sacrificing quality.Team Player - Works well in a fast-paced team environment; willing to jump in and help (even if it means sweeping floors or packing trucks).Attention to Detail - Takes pride in clean work, accurate dimensions, and guest-ready finishes.Physical Capability - Able to lift up to 75 lbs and be on your feet throughout the shift.Integrity & Work Ethic - Self-motivated, honest, and accountable; respectful of confidential company materials and plans.BenefitsCompensation:$24 - $27$2 / hr shift differential (on 2nd shift)Shift:1st shift - 6:30am - 3:00pm2nd shift - 3:00pm - 11:30pmMonday - FridayBenefits:Medical, dental, visionPaid time off and holidaysShort and long term disability401k + matchClear advancement path to Lead Fabricator, Project Manager, or Production Manager
