QA InspectorResponsibilities:Monitoring operations by ensuring manufacturing team members follow company-wide operation proceduresComplete line start-up and line clearance, and hourly inspections by conducting visual and measurement testsMaintaining records of inspection and testing through an electronic systemInitiate non-conformances and deviations, ensuring that only acceptable products are sent to customersBeing an active part of the team, helping to eliminate production obstacles to increase productivityCross-functional exposure to other areas of OperationsRequirementsStand and walk for 2 hours at a time as they roam their assigned area and inspect products.Simple addition and subtraction calculationsPrefer prior experience in an FDA regulated industriesMust be able to follow written instructions and specifications under GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines.Must possess good communication and interpersonal skillsReading and writing English fluentlySpanish-speaking candidates are strongly preferredReading and understanding company policy, safety guidelines, and manufacturing rulesGood documentation practice is a mustMust be able to work multiple shifts, including weekendsEducation RequirementsHigh school education or a GED equivalency requiredCertification in quality control is preferredA minimum of 2 years experience in a similar roleExcellent knowledge of MS OfficeGood math and technical skills.Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques.Equal Employment OpportunityCosmetic Solutions is an equal opportunity employer.
