Sanitation Team Lead - 2nd SHIFT (2:30pm to 11pm)

Overview We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Sanitation Team Lead to oversee cleaning operations during the second shift, from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm. In this role, you'll be the driving force behind maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment across our facilities. Duties Lead and supervise a team of cleaning staff during the second shift, assigning tasks and monitoring performance to ensure high standards of cleanliness. Oversee daily cleaning operations including general sanitation, laundry services, and specialized custodial tasks across multiple areas. Ensure all cleaning procedures comply with health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment. Conduct regular inspections to verify cleanliness levels, identify areas needing attention, and provide feedback for continuous improvement. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, as needed to maintain operational readiness. Train new team members on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and company policies to promote consistency and quality. Collaborate with management to develop schedules, improve processes, and implement best practices for sanitation operations. Qualifications Proven experience in Food Manufacturing plant is mandatory. You must know GMPs. Demonstrated leadership or supervising experience in food manufacturing. Strong knowledge of commercial cleaning procedures, laundry operations, and safety standards. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently. Effective communication skills to lead a team and coordinate with other departments. Ability to work independently while maintaining high attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
