Description: The Creative Content Specialist is responsible for assisting with the execution and development of graphic design for Gathering Place, including creative content planning, ideation, creation, curation, design development, and social media production. The ideal candidate will produce marketing deliverables that are on brand, consistent, and of high quality across all platforms. It is critical that this person uses their keen eye for detail to deliver creative and high-quality work for Gathering Place. This role will report to the Marketing Manager of Gathering Place. Responsibilities: Design creative for Gathering Place marketing plans, campaigns, events, and daily operations Execute all Instagram uploads and optimizations Translate marketing objectives into clear creative strategies through conceptualization Ideate and develop designs for Gathering Place experiences and activations Demonstrate illustrative skills from rough sketches, mock-up renderings, to production Identify creative new ways to integrate the goals of GGP Parks into local, national, and international campaigns Support all departments with concept ideas and design direction Assist in ensuring that all social accounts represent the proper branding and have a consistent aesthetic on social media Research, pitch, and project manage video, visuals, and design content from ideation to publishing across all social media Present creative ideas and pitch new ideas Design new merchandise and retail Review creative materials submitted by stakeholders, external partners, freelancers, and creative agencies Ensure all visual communication and brand standards are met Monitor deliverables, timelines, and budgets Develop visuals for evergreen brand content strategies Manage archive of creative assets (ex: images, graphics) Share platform best practices and test learnings Requirements: Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher in visual/graphic design or a related field Must have design, graphic, and/or visual communication experience Strong portfolio showcasing creative experience Proficiency in industry-standard programs and software: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Canva, and other graphic editing/design software Proficiency in social media platforms Ability to conceptualize and design Able to edit multimedia Equipped with excellent project management, analytic skills, and proven ability to meet deadlines Aware of current marketing trends in design, digital, consumer products, and brand experiences Must be a strong team player Must prioritize and manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment Basic understanding of digital analytics and performance tracking Ability to be nimble and adapt quickly to new technologies and processes Highly organized and detail-oriented with an exceptional sense of accountability Be able to find creative solutions to challenges and use data to drive content development and programming decisions Excellent skills in developing creative and innovative ideas Up to date with current marketing trends in design, digital, consumer products, and brand experiences Preferred Qualifications: Able to multi-task effectively with attention to details A self-starter who is organized, resourceful, and able to take initiatives Solid time-management skills, as work flows in timing and intensity Quick-thinking, strategic, and collaborative Passion for storytelling Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift, push, pull and/or carry up to 50 lbs. Perform the following physical activities: kneeling, squatting, bend floor-to waist/waist-to-overhead, reach overhead, simple grasp, and fine hand manipulation tasks (use of tools/keyboard/writing) Must be able to work indoors and outdoors, in varying weather, including extreme heat Work regularly Monday through Friday but with flexibility based on business needs to include weekends, evenings, and holidays
