As an L&D RN, you'll guide patients through one of life's most unforgettable experiences—bringing new life into the world while keeping both mom and baby safe, supported, and cared for.Key Responsibilities:Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout laborAssist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sectionsAdminister medications, IVs, and support epidural proceduresProvide continuous patient care, education, and reassuranceRespond quickly to changes in maternal or fetal conditionCollaborate with OB physicians, midwives, and neonatal teamsMaintain accurate and timely documentationEnsure compliance with safety and clinical protocolsRequirements:Active RN license in Colorado or compact stateMinimum 2 years of recent L&D experienceStrong fetal monitoring and labor management skillsAbility to stay calm in high-pressure situationsExcellent communication and patient care skillsBLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
