A Personal Care Assistant coordinates and assists a patient with daily activities such as light housekeeping, eating, dressing, laundry and medication reminder. Along with these duties, a Personal Care Assistant may also need to transport patients and assist in their basic hygiene needs. Responsibilities: Feed, bathe and clothe patients. Light housekeeping Pay attention to details. Be aware of and able to recognize problems associated with patient assistance. Take a personal inventory of the patient. Provide patients with privacy, comfort, dignity and safety.
