Job DescriptionAmerican Traveler is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Staunton, Illinois.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: CT TechnologistDiscipline: Allied Health ProfessionalStart Date: 05/11/2026Duration: 13 weeks36 hours per weekShift: 12 hours, nightsEmployment Type: TravelAssignment OverviewShift: Nights, 3x12hrsHours: 36 hrs/wkStart Date: May 11, 2026Length: 13 weeksOpenings: 1DescriptionAmerican Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience and required GE CT Scanner proficiency for a night shift travel contract.DetailsHospital-based CT/X-Ray setting serving a broad patient population including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatricsProcedures include CT of the abdomen, pelvis, chest, head, sinuses, soft tissue neck, carotid, cervical, lumbar, thoracic, and musculoskeletal; vascular studies including PE, CTA, and aorta; 3D rendering (MIP, surface shaded displays, volume rendering); and multiplanar reconstruction (MPR)Contrast media preparation and administration is requiredGE CT Scanner experience requiredNight shifts, 3x12 hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Friday through SundayFloating to X-Ray is requiredRequirementsMinimum of 2 years of CT/X-Ray experienceCurrent BLS, ARRT, and IEMA certifications requiredExperience in adult acute care, adult outpatient, and Emergency Department settings requiredProficiency with GE CT Scanner requiredExperience with radiation safety protocols requiredLicense required if applicableAdditional InformationFirst-time travelers will be considered for this position2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for considerationFull 7-year work history with all gaps explained is required for considerationAny time off or scheduling requests must be disclosed at the time of initial considerationScrubs must be black or dark grayAmerican Traveler Job ID #P-699047.
