Validation Engineer

Job DescriptionTekPro is representing our client, a leader in their industry, in the search for a talented Validation Engineer. This role is pivotal to ensuring that the company's products meet and exceed technical standards, from design through production. If you are an experienced engineer with a passion for product optimization, compliance, and technical leadership, this could be a great opportunity for you.Essential Functions: Ensure all in-production products meet required technical specifications. Participate in cost reduction initiatives through product optimization, adhering to established best practices. Assist in failure analysis, root cause investigation, and corrective actions for product failures. Author technical reports related to failure analysis, root cause, and corrective actions for assigned products. Create and maintain documentation for in-production product features, options, and accessories. Act as a champion for product technical standards, providing resources and information to the broader team. Support Quality and Manufacturing teams in resolving order fulfillment issues and ensuring shipment commitments are met. Collaborate with Product Management and Marketing, offering technical expertise and verification of product information. Participate in engineering meetings with the parent company as needed. Proactively partner with Operations to ensure adherence to product quality standards. Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical). Four (4) years of experience in product engineering or product development. Green Belt knowledge level in Lean Six Sigma Manufacturing Best Practices. Expertise in motors, brake-motors, motor standards (UL, MG1, CSA), and motor design/manufacture. Preferred knowledge of rotating equipment such as gearboxes. Additional essential skills and knowledge relevant to the job title as indicated in HRIS.
