Coding Instructor - Teach K-5 After School Classes!

Do you have experience teaching kids and have basic coding skills? We’ve got a fantastic opportunity just for you! Join Coding with Kids as a Coding Instructor and help K-12 students discover the magic of programming after school and during camps. $$$ Bonus and Compensation Alert: Earn up to $60 for each class you teach! How does that break down? You are paid at a competitive base rate for: Teaching time with students The time you prepare for the class The extra time you need onsite to set up and clean up each day This adds up to 2 hours of paid time per one-hour class. In addition, you will earn a performance bonus of $20-30 per day for the in-person class you teach as long as you fulfill your professional responsibilities. What You'll Be Doing: Teach Fun Coding Classes: Lead interactive, hands-on coding sessions at local schools in Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C. area. Diverse Curriculum: Use our engaging curriculum to teach a variety of programming languages including Scratch, Python, AI, Web Development, Minecraft Modding, Roblox, Robotics, and more! Inspire Students: Create a positive, exciting learning environment that makes coding learning fun and accessible. Build Connections: Foster strong relationships with students and fellow instructors. What We’re Looking For: We need instructors who are: Near DMV area: Within a 30-minute commute to Bethesda, Greenbelt, Beltsville, Gaithersburg, Alexandria or Washington, D.C. Friendly: Create a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for students. Communicative: Clearly explain coding concepts and classroom expectations. Problem Solvers: Tackle challenges with creativity and a positive attitude. Reliable: Show up on time and ready to teach with a dependable vehicle. Flexible: Adapt to different classroom dynamics and student needs. Reflective: Continuously assess and improve your teaching strategies.
