This position focuses on designing and developing curriculum, course materials, and learning experiences for Web Development courses delivered in asynchronous online formats. Responsibilities include creating course outlines, video lessons, developing applied coding exercises, and building assessments aligned with clearly defined learning outcomes. Courses are designed for a global audience and emphasize hands-on, career-relevant skills in front-end development, modern JavaScript, and user-centered design. Instruction may include both asynchronous course development and teaching, as program needs arise. We seek industry professionals who bring current, hands-on experience in software engineering, web development, or UI/UX design. Ideal candidates have experience building production-level web applications and can translate that experience into clear, engaging learning content for a broad audience. QualificationsBasic qualifications(required at time of application) A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Design, or a related discipline OR equivalent professional experience in web development, software engineering, or UI/UX design. Additional qualifications(required at time of start) Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in web development, software engineering, UI/UX design, or a closely related field. Previous experience creating asynchronous video lessons.Preferred qualifications5+ years of professional experience in web development or software engineering Experience building and deploying real-world web applications Experience working in production environments (e.g., startups, enterprise systems, or shipped web applications) Experience developing curriculum, training materials, or technical instruction Prior teaching, training, or mentoring experience (higher education, bootcamps, or industry) Experience with modern frameworks (React, Vue, or similar) Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (Canvas, Coursera, or similar) or willingness to learnApplication RequirementsDocument requirementsApplicants should indicate their areas of professional expertise (e.g., front-end development, JavaScript, UI/UX design, or related areas).
