CT Tech Location: Louisville, KY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,756 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 5/25/2026 About the Position Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: Tech Specialty: CT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Two (2) years of CT scanning experience required License: Kentucky license required Certifications: ARRT (CT), BLS Must-Have: - CT scanning experience - Imaging skills - Knowledge of anatomy and physiology Description: The CT Technologist utilizes imaging, computer, and other equipment as appropriate to produce high-quality diagnostic images. Demonstrates thorough knowledge of human anatomy and physiology. Applies professional knowledge to prepare patients for procedures, educate them, and respond to concerns. Ensures age-appropriate communication, safety needs, and patient education. Demonstrates an understanding of patient positioning, imaging techniques, and radiation safety. Utilizes quality control techniques to ensure optimal image production. Oversees and trains students providing patient care as part of their training. Verifies ordered exams for appropriateness using assessment data. Administers contrast as directed. Positions patients and equipment to achieve optimal imaging results. Works with physicians to evaluate images and determine the need for additional images. Applies radiation safety techniques to minimize exposure for patients and staff. Ensures proper infection control measures are followed. Strives to meet or exceed department and industry standards in image quality. Demonstrates accountability for results and a commitment to continuous improvement. Respects all individuals and upholds integrity in all actions.
