Our relentless drive for excellence has extended into a variety of new dispensing systems, ensuring that we stay ahead of the curve and continue to meet the evolving needs of our customers.Position Overview:We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Vacuum Forming & Machine Operator to join our production team. This role is responsible for forming, cutting, and finishing plastic components using vacuum forming equipment and various machining tools.This position plays a critical role in ensuring precision and quality, as improper measurements or cuts can result in complete product loss. The ideal candidate is self-sufficient, mechanically inclined, safety-conscious, and comfortable working with machinery and hand tools in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Main Responsibilities:Operate vacuum forming equipment to produce molded plastic componentsMonitor gauges and machine settings during production runsRemove formed products from molds and properly stage for coolingApply weights during cooling to prevent product distortionTrim and cut flanges and formed plastic components to specificationModify and cut roto-molded plastic pieces as requiredPerform precision forming and cutting of components such as drip trays and related partsUse routers (table and handheld), band saws, hand saws, drill presses, and shearing equipmentRead and interpret measurements, gauges, and basic blueprintsUtilize general hand tools such as wrenches and drillsPerform light maintenance on machinery, including oiling and general upkeepWork with vacuum form fixtures and forming toolsMaintain a clean and organized work environmentFollow all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE (eye protection, gloves, etc.)Requirements:Minimum of 2+ years of experience in machine operation, woodworking, plastics forming, or similar production environmentExperience operating routers, band saws, drill presses, shearing equipment, and hand toolsAbility to read gauges and accurately measure materialsExperience reading and interpreting basic blueprints preferredComfortable performing precision cuts and forming workStrong attention to detail and quality controlUnderstanding of shop safety procedures and proper PPE useEducation and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent requiredPhysical & Mental Requirements:Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. independently (team lift required for items over 35 lbs)Ability to lift and move forms stored in wooden cratesAbility to stand for extended periodsStrong attention to detail and ability to focus for prolonged periodsComfortable working in an air-conditioned warehouse environment; areas near vacuum forming equipment may be warmer than typical warehouse settings (fans available for airflow)Work Environment:Manufacturing warehouse settingExposure to mechanical equipment and production machinerySafety protocols must be followed at all times when operating machineryBenefits:Competitive salary and benefits packageHealth, dental, and vision insurance401k planPaid time off and holidaysOpportunities for professional growth and developmentCollaborative and innovative work environmentCalifornia Employment Compliance:This position complies with all applicable California labor laws, including wage and hour laws, anti-discrimination protections, and workplace safety requirements.Employees are entitled to meal and rest breaks as mandated by state law.This role complies with the California Fair Pay Act, ensuring equal pay for substantially similar work.Reasonable accommodations will be provided to qualified individuals with disabilities as required under the California Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA).All personal employee data is handled in accordance with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
