This includes researching and analyzing data in support of business functions, process knowledge, and systems requirements. The Business Process Analyst is also responsible for proactively generating and compiling reports based on his or her findings, complete with recommended improvements to or new requirements for business processes and operational procedures. This individual will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of IT system investments and to assist in implementing new computer systems.Essential TasksChart existing business processes in order to define current business activities for the development of procedures and models.Meet with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business, financial, and operations requirements and systems goalsResearch, review, and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing and potential trouble areas in operating systems or procedures for partners.Develop strategies for enhancing or further leveraging existing processes.Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations, or alternatives for improving processes in operating systems across the organization.Identify and establish scope and parameters of process analysis in order to define impact, outcome criteria, and measure-taking actions.Analyze and verify requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards.Effectively communicates to the project team and key stakeholders, both verbally and written.Perform other duties as assigned.Specific Knowledge, Skills And AbilitiesVery knowledgeable in Microsoft Office products, including ExcelBasic knowledge in generating process documentationStrong attention to detailStrong organization skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to solve problems and make decisionsStrong work ethicLocation:Fort Worth, TXIn office positionExperience And EducationOccasional travel to other offices will be requiredCollege Degree Or Equivalent Work Experience Required5+ years of Business Analyst experience preferred
