Machine Operator - 2nd Shift

Experienced Machine Operators Needed2nd Shift - 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Monday - Friday Some Saturday overtime required $19 per hour + $1.50 per hour shift differential!Primary duties:Maintain a clean and safe work areaResponsible for machine operation to produce finished goodsOperate in their responsibility to maintain efficiency and qualityPerform a variety of manufacturing tasks using production equipment to ensure steady workflowPerform equipment adjustmentsMounting of cutting dies, print plates, and any other tooling required for each jobPerform quality checks prior to each job assigned and during the production runMaintain documented checklist for quality checks, ink monitoring, and clean upKeep machine setup and run times at maximum efficiencyHelp troubleshoot any quality or machine issues as they occurEnsure that the equipment is properly maintained, notifying Maintenance and Supervisors of any issues that occurPerform daily and detailed weekly cleanup in accordance with the cleanup checklistIdentify, and report any damaged tooling that needs repairIdentify product safety concerns and report them to your supervisorMaintain proper production reportingOther duties as determined by Plant Superintendent, Shift Supervisor or Shift LeadJob Requirements:Standing for long periods of timeAbility to read a tape measureBending, lifting, twisting on a continuous basisAbility to lift 70 lbs.Ability to clearly communicate with material handlers, other employees and managers as neededAttention to detail and high level of numerical accuracyAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyExperience assisting on multi color flexographic press is preferredAble to troubleshoot and problem solveBasic computer skills preferredAbility to clearly differentiate colorsWe are an equal opportunity employer.
