This role is heavily plant-focused - you’ll spend the majority of your time on the shop floor, working side-by-side with production teams to identify inefficiencies, implement improvements, and deliver measurable results.This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic setting and enjoys turning data and observation into real, tangible process improvements.Must HavesAuthorization to work in the US without restrictionsBachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline3+ years of continuous improvement experience in a manufacturing environment including: Corrugated packaging, Packaging manufacturing, Plastics packaging, Printing, Cosmetics or personal care manufacturingProven track record of working hands-on on the plant floorStrong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and CI tools (e.g., VSM, 5S, SMED, RCA)Ability to engage and influence shop-floor teams and drive changeKey ResponsibilitiesLead and execute continuous improvement initiatives across production and packaging operationsWork directly on the plant floor to identify waste, bottlenecks, and inefficienciesApply Lean, Six Sigma, and CI methodologies to improve throughput, reduce downtime, and optimize processesFacilitate Kaizen events and root cause analysis (RCA) sessionsCollaborate with production, maintenance, engineering, and quality teams to implement sustainable improvementsMonitor and report on KPIs such as OEE, yield, scrap, and downtimeDevelop and standardize best practices and operating proceduresSupport training and coaching of plant personnel to sustain improvementsDrive a culture of continuous improvement and accountability across the sitePreferred QualificationsSix Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certificationExperience in high-speed, high-volume manufacturing environmentsBilingual: Spanish and English (highly desirable)Demonstrated success delivering measurable cost savings and efficiency gains
