IT Network & Systems Engineer

Our client is a national home warranty provider protecting over 2 million homeowners from unexpected maintenance costs. They manage a nationwide network of service professionals to handle critical home repairs. This is a 3-month contract assignment to start.Job Title: IT Network And Systems EngineerLocation: Naperville, IL (Hybrid, 3 days per week onsite)Pay Range: $55.00 - $60.00 / hourPosition OverviewPlug-and-play IT Systems Engineer needed to maintain office internet, secure corporate laptops, and manage user accounts. You are a tech generalist who can hit the ground running on Day 1 in a Microsoft, Mac, and Cisco environment.ResponsibilitiesNetwork Infrastructure: Manage office Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and firewalls. Handle ISP troubleshooting and use Cisco Umbrella to block web threats.Device Management (MDM): Provision and deploy Windows and Mac laptops at scale. Build and push security updates using Microsoft Intune (Autopilot) and Jamf (Apple Business Manager).Identity & Security: Manage user access in Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD). Build Conditional Access policies, enforce MFA, and configure Single Sign-On (SSO).M365 Cloud Admin: Manage the backend for Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint. Troubleshoot file permissions and manage software licensing.Qualifications5+ years of experience as an IT Systems Engineer, Systems Administrator, or equivalent experience.Hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki or Fortinet dashboards.Experience working in a Windows and MAC envirnment.Proven history managing an environment of 100+ devices via Intune and Jamf.Strong troubleshooting skills across M365 (SharePoint and Teams).If interested in learning more please apply directy, or reach out to Adam Deutsch w/ Talener at adeutsch@talener.com
