Job SummaryWe are seeking a Cloud Engineering Ops Lead (AWS + Application Support) to ensure AWS platforms and customer-facing applications are highly available, observable, secure, recoverable, and cost-efficient. This role focuses on making operational processes seamless so that on-call teams can respond effectively and releases remain stable and predictable. Key ResponsibilitiesManage AWS operations including EC2, EKS, RDS, ALB/CloudFront, IAM/OIDC, and networking (VPC, TGW, Security Groups)Support application releases including readiness checks, smoke testing, and rollback strategiesBuild and maintain observability systems (dashboards, logs, metrics, traces, alerts)Own backup and disaster recovery including policies, retention, cross-region replication, and restore testingLead incident management (Sev-1/2), ensuring clear communication and effective resolutionDrive cost optimization through tagging, right-sizing, RI/SP coverage, and lifecycle managementDevelop runbooks, automate repetitive tasks, and improve operational efficiencyMaintain security best practices including least-privilege access and credential rotationEnsure production readiness and stability across AWS environmentsRequired Skills & Qualifications8–10+ years of experience in cloud and application operationsStrong hands-on expertise in AWS (EC2, EKS, RDS, CloudFront, IAM, VPC)Experience in monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworksProficiency in automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or PythonExperience with backup and disaster recovery planning and validationStrong understanding of cloud networking and infrastructure designExperience leading incidents and managing production environmentsPreferred SkillsAWS Solutions Architect CertificationNetworking certifications (CCNA/CCNP or equivalent)ITIL Certification
