CAM Educational Services is an innovative, educational Start-Up, and one of the most prestigious after-school tutoring and Children's Tech & STEAM programs in the San Francisco Peninsula, now expanding to wider regions in California. We are a young educational start-up that serves professional and high-level executive families and in partnership with school districts in Northern and Southern California areas to provide enrichment programs for underprivileged families. We serve students ranging from K- to 8th Grader. We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Tech & STEAM Program Instructor for our Program in Millbrae Sites. The Teach Instructor will play a crucial role in supporting the Buena Park team in shaping the educational direction of our organization, driving innovation, and ensuring the highest standards of excellence. You would be a great fit for our program if you have expertise on the below: Robotics (Vex and competition/team experience) 3D Modeling/Printing E-sports Game Design - Block Programming Minecraft Modding using Block Programming Creative Coding - Block Programming Python JavaScript HTML and CSS STEAM/STEM Curriculum Further job expectations: Can start as soon as possible Support the program management in leading classes and team of tutors or instructors to create unique and engaging classroom experiences to meet operational excellence standards Help develop and spearhead a program curriculum and lesson plan for the whole school year, including holiday and summer camps Willing to support and transport to classes in neighboring sites in Buena Park & Fullerton School District as needed Adapt to curriculum, hardware, or classroom setup to support any technical or social demands that may arise during the program Help maintain all supplies, equipment, and materials—inform the central office when new/additional supplies are needed Maintain timely and professional communication with parents, colleagues, and students Participate in planning meetings and support preparation of enrichment program offerings Help establish and maintain partnerships with educational institutions, community organizations, and stakeholders Ensure smooth preparation and clean-up of enrichment classroom Other Position Qualifications: Preferred experience : Worked with TK to 8th grade students Leading and instructing a class of 20+ students Atleast 2 years of passion for and experience tutoring or teaching children Ability to work collaboratively Flexibility and ability to adjust to changes Strong communication and problem-solving skills with students, parents and staff Welcoming demeanor Openness to feedback Bachelor's, AA Degree in Computer Science, Education or related field Able to work 4-6 days a week Able to work in a fast-paced environment Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) matching Paid time off Education: Bachelor's (Preferred) Ability to Commute: Millbrae, CA 94030 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Millbrae, CA 94030: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
