Utilize a working knowledge of NiFi, be comfortable working in a Linux environment, interact with data ontologies (schemas), structured data types (XML, CSV, JSON), have database experience (MySQL/NoSQL) and analytic query experience with a platform.Work with numerous concurrent IC-provided data sets to identify, map and model data transformation routines supporting ingestion into the customer's corporate repositories and be able to document new and existing data flows supporting data routing implementations.A working knowledge of smart data systems and entitlements is highly desired, as well as experience with JAVA and Splunk.Required ExperienceDemonstrated experience supporting Systems Engineering efforts is requiredAble to implement comprehensive SOA solutionsAble to conduct and/or approve end-to-end system trade analyses to optimize system operations over its life cycle through the proper balance of non-functional system performance areasAble to ensure effective, periodic review and control of the evolving configuration of a system, both hardware and software components and associated documentation, during the life of the systemAble to develop system design alternatives that consider life cycle cost, reuse, complexity, risk, system expansion, and growthAble to maintain knowledge of current and evolving agency, national, and international standards applicable to the system development of interestAble to recommend a preferred solution based on selection criteriaAble to provide technical direction for the full systems engineering life cycleAble to fully define interfaces in terms of origination, destination, stimulus, and data characteristics for software.Desired ExperienceWorking knowledge of smart data systems and entitlementsExperience with JAVA and Splunk is highly desiredExperience with current and evolving agency dataflow and reporting solutionsExperience in developing system performance, availability, scalability, manageability, and security requirements for mid-to-large scale systemsExperience in leading agile development modelsExperience integrating COTS and GOTS products from multiple vendorsExperience developing and deploying storage within clustered or cloud environmentsExperience planning and integrating secure compliant solutions based on legal, policy, and compliance directivesSalary: $235,000 - $245,000 annuallyExcellent benefits package including 25 days PTO, 11 paid holidays, 100% employer-paid healthcare for employees and dependents – available day 1, 8% 401(k) employer match – immediate vesting.Disclaimer: The salary range provided is an estimate based on current market conditions and may be adjusted based on factors such as experience, skills, and qualifications.
