Salary Range: $24,800.00 - $52,800.00
Assignment Credits & Per Credit Salary Range: Coaches are considered temporary part-time faculty; pay is determined by the number of assignment credits. The Head Softball Coach position is 9 credits. The per credit salary rate is $1,435.56 up to $2,396.43.
Initial per credit salary placement is determined on the basis of education and experience in accordance with the faculty contract.
Position Overview Head Softball Coach to begin the fall semester of 2026 at the Fergus Falls campus.
Responsibilities Head coach duties including recruiting, conducting practices, tryouts, and organizing and scheduling road trips.
Tracking students' athletic eligibility and other related duties.
Monitoring softball budget, fundraising as appropriate, and maintaining spending practices in alignment with NJCAA rules.
Minimum Qualifications Softball coaching experience.
Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to recruit and coach.
Commitment to adhere to the policies and procedures of Minnesota State Community and Technical College, MCCC, and NCAA Division III.
Preferred Qualifications Assistant or Head coaching experience at the collegiate level.
Ability to work with a diverse population of students.
