DescriptionJob Summary: The Clinical Equipment & Surgical Support Specialist is responsible for supporting the management, maintenance, and operational readiness of all clinical equipment across all locations.This role serves as the execution partner to the In-Office Procedures & Surgical Technology Manager, ensuring that equipment is properly tracked, maintained, and fully functional at all times, while also supporting in-office procedures and new clinic launches.This is a multi-location, field-based role requiring strong organization, accountability, and attention to detail.Job Duties And ResponsibilitiesEquipment Inventory & Warranty ManagementMaintain a centralized, up-to-date inventory of all clinical equipment across all locations, including:Equipment type and locationPurchase dateWarranty expirationLast maintenance dateTrack all equipment sent for repair:Date sentTracking numberVendorEstimated return dateProactively monitor:Upcoming warranty expirationsEquipment performance trendsReplacement timelines Preventative Maintenance ProgramCoordinate and execute annual and bi-annual maintenance schedules across all locationsSchedule and attend maintenance visits with vendors and repsEnsure all equipment is serviced consistently and documentedMaintain detailed maintenance logs for every piece of equipment Clinical Equipment OversightSupport oversight and functionality of all clinical equipment, including but not limited to:Microscopes, scopes, otoscopesAudiology, VNG, and CT equipmentTowersAutoclavesExam chairs and physician swivel chairsResponsibilities IncludeRoutine inspections and performance checksIdentifying and escalating issues earlyCoordinating repairs and replacementsEnsuring all clinical rooms are fully functional and properly equipped Procedure SupportAssist with setup and breakdown of equipment for in-office proceduresEnsure all required equipment is available, functional, and properly configuredTroubleshoot equipment issues in real-time as neededHelp standardize procedure room setup across all locations New Location SupportPartner with manager during new clinic openingsEnsure all clinical equipment is:Delivered, installed, and operationalProperly set up in each roomFully functional prior to patient careIdentify and help resolve any missing or incomplete equipment items Standardization Across LocationsEnsure consistency in equipment setup and functionality across all clinicsIdentify gaps or inconsistencies between locationsSupport implementation of standardized equipment protocols Documentation & AccountabilityMaintain all records in a centralized, accessible systemEnsure accuracy and completeness of:Equipment inventoryMaintenance logsRepair trackingAll activity must be documentedOther duties as assignedCompensation$75,000-$85,000 per yearRequirementsQualifications and Experience:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are reflective of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.Surgical Technician background OR equivalent hands-on clinical equipment experienceStrong organizational and tracking skillsAbility to manage multiple locations and prioritiesDetail-oriented with strong follow-throughComfortable working independently in a field-based roleMust be able to travel within our various Los Angeles based clinics Strong communication and coordination skillsPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
