Optimization Engineer
Role: Optimization Engineer based in Midland, TX, supporting energy production through technical expertise.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport sales teams and clients by optimizing production via artificial lift recommendations.Participate in project activities and serve as a liaison between support teams and operations.Utilize monitoring tools like LOOKOUT to analyze well performance and identify downtime reduction opportunities.Ensure data accuracy by reviewing daily production inputs and outputs.Develop effective solutions, make timely decisions, and communicate operational questions clearly.Perform work shifts, including weekends or holidays as needed.Qualifications And SkillsBachelor's degree in Engineering (Petroleum, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical) or equivalent experience.Field operations exposure with Electric Submersible Pumps and/or Multiphase Flow meters.High computer literacy (Microsoft Office, internal software systems).Preferred skills include remote operations experience, programming (Python, SQL, Java), and strong communication.Demonstrated ethics, time management, multitasking, adaptability, autonomy, and self-motivation.Knowledge of artificial lift methods, completions, and production fundamentals is advantageous.
