Business AnalystLocation: Austin, TXPosition Type: ContractRate: (W2/1099) US Citizen, Green Card and GC EAD preferred.The Business Analyst is responsible for identifying current state of application processes, eliciting their useful and harmful attributes, documenting process models, documenting requirements/designs, and facilitating stakeholder groups to consensus regarding new process designs and technical solutions.Responsibilities:Conducts interviews with IT staff, business units, management, and other stakeholders to gain insight on current state of processesAnalyzes processes, documentation, and other data to understand technical details, identify problems, and determine solutions for application development, maintenance, and support processesCreates comprehensive software requirement specification and design documentsAbility to document data flows and data management steps.Models "as-is" and "to-be" business processes using workflow and process engines; documents gap analyses; diagrams system architectureUnderstands technical IT resources and translates/documents information into requirements for technical and non-technical audiencesDemonstrates a strong knowledge of system development methodology, project management and system architectureDevelops and maintains effective relationships with the client, management, and team membersWork with Application SMEs to document behavioral and passive data models across applications following UML and TOGAF/Archimate standards.Work with Business Analysts to document data flows and data management steps across all end-to-end systems and data sources.Work with Enterprise Architecture team to promote and develop modeling standards.Assist in operationalize governance of Architecture data through Sparx EARequirements:Minimum of 3-5 years' work experience with Business Analysis-Requirements ManagementExperience with TFS/VSTS is needed for this roleExperience with Sparx Enterprise Architect (10.0 or newer)
