Marin and Sonoma CountiesThe Construction Manager is a senior field leader responsible for ensuring company residential and commercial renewable energy projects are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality.This role bridges project planning and field execution. The Construction Manager is a highly experienced construction professional who provides technical support, prepares installation teams for success, and provides ongoing field leadership throughout the installation process.Working closely with the Project Management team and reporting to the CEO, this position ensures projects are properly prepared before installation and that crews are supported throughout the construction process.The Construction Manager splits time between the field and the office supporting crews, ensuring safety compliance, making technical decisions, setting construction plans, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining the company’s reputation for high-quality workmanship.Pre-Construction PlanningField Execution LeadershipCoordination with Project ManagementSafety and Quality OversightTechnical LeadershipLeadership SkillsRequired ExperienceMinimum 10 years of construction experience. Electrical experience is a plus.Minimum of 3 years of solar installation experience is required.Minimum of 5 years experience managing or supervising construction teams.Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple concurrent complex construction projects.Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.Ability to work safely on rooftops and construction sites.Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical job-site inspections.Technical SkillsStrong understanding of residential construction practices.Experience with solar PV systems and energy storage installations.Working knowledge of electrical systems and building construction.Experience with main panel upgrades, HVAC systems and home automation systems a plus.Potentially qualified candidates submitting a current resume will receive a full job description, and benefit information.
