Duties
Assist in food preparation by chopping, slicing, assembling ingredients, and following recipes accurately.
Support cooking processes by operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently under supervision.
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen appliances to ensure food safety standards are met.
Help with food handling procedures, including proper storage, labeling, and inventory management.
Buss tables and clear dining areas promptly to facilitate smooth service flow.
Support banquet or event setups by preparing ingredients and assisting with large-scale food production.
Follow all health and safety regulations diligently to uphold hygiene standards in the kitchen environment.
Skills
Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety protocols.
Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and front-of-house staff.
Ability to handle food safely and responsibly, adhering to all food handling guidelines.
Experience with food safety certifications or willingness to obtain necessary training.
Customer service mindset with a positive attitude toward teamwork and hospitality.
