Certified - Teaching - Math TeacherJob Number 3300052941Start DateOpen Date 04/23/2026Closing Date 06/30/2026MATH TeacherAnticipated OpeningsProvide an educational program for students and assist in other school programs as assignedRepresentative Duties and Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Teach students utilizing the course of study adopted by South Buffalo Charter School Board of TrusteesInstruct students in citizenship, basic communication skills and other general elements of the course of study specified in state law and administrative regulations and procedures of the school districtProvide planned learning experiences in order to motivate students and effectively utilize the available time for instructionDevelop lesson plans and instructional materials and provide differentiated, individualized and small group instruction in order to adapt the curriculum to the needs of each studentEvaluate students' academic and social growth, keep appropriate records, prepare progress reports and communicate with parents on the individual student's progressIdentify student needs and cooperate with other professional staff members in assessing and helping students solve health, attitude and learning problemsPerform basic attendance services as are requiredMaintain professional competence through participation in in-service education activities provided by South Buffalo Charter School and/or self-selected professional growth activitiesCreate, with assistance from students, a functional and attractive environment for learning through displays, bulletin boards and interest centersEstablish and maintain, in cooperation with school administration, standards of student behavior needed to achieve a functional learning atmosphere in the classroomParticipate in school-wide curriculum developmentAssist other staff members in helping pupils solve health, attitude and learning problemsPerform other duties as assigned by Director or Director's designeeEducation, Experience, and other Qualifications:MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Credential: NYS Certification in Math or comparable Math area.Education: Bachelor's degree, including all courses needed to meet credential requirementPay range is $43,430.00 to $81,367.14 based on years of servicePlease submit, through email, your interest in this position by June 30, 2026.Email Resume & Cover Letter to:Mr. David B.
