Outpatient Program Manager

The Outpatient Program Manager is responsible for ensuring the efficient and compliant opening of new and de novo sober living facilities as well as PHP/IOP/MAT clinics efficient operations for current division outpatient services across multi-sites and multi-states. ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee all aspects of outpatient services, including therapy sessions, program schedules, and staff performanceEnsure compliance with state and federal regulations, including Office-Based Opioid Treatment (OBOT) protocolsOversee accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, census reporting, and compliance requirementsFacilitate group therapy sessionsusing evidence-based treatment practicesSupervise and support therapists working toward licensure, providing guidance and co-signing documentationas requiredCoordinate with medical and mid-level providers to develop multidisciplinary care plans for patientsRegularly assess program effectiveness and implement improvements to enhance patient outcomes and operational efficiencyFoster relationships with internal and external stakeholdersto strengthen program offerings and partnershipsAssist with growth opportunities in sober living divisions and outpatient sitesAssisting with finding appropriate sites for de novo projects, researching regulations and completing policy and procedures, competencies, programming, etc., for de novo projects (IOP/PHP/MAT/Sober living)Overall implementation process for opening de novo projects. Including but not limited to obtaining necessary licenses to serve as the lead to opening new IOP/PHP/MAT/Sober living sitesParticipate in completion of presentations, training materials, competencies, policy and procedures, etc.Oversee the regional offices as the Director when requiredProvide support and guidance to the PHP/IOP/MAT offices attached to the Residential Treatment facilities on a quarterly basis as well as a follow-up visitOversee compliance initiatives to ensure adherence to regulatory standards, including HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2Act as a strategic partner to senior leadership, providing input on operational initiatives, budgeting, proformas, and growth opportunitiesDevelop, implement, and manage operational metrics and policies for sober living and outpatient services, ensuring consistency and compliance across locationsManage and optimize the admissions process across multiple locationsRegularly audit sober living and outpatient programs to identify areas for improvement and ensure best practices are followedCollaborate with the Senior Regional Director/Vice President of Outpatient Operations to align facility practices with corporate objectivesProvide training and support to staff on compliance and policy-related issuesEnsure the integrity of patient data and confidentiality, maintaining compliance with privacy regulationsManage documentation related to policies and procedures, ensuring they are up-to-date and accessible to staffEnsure compliance with HIPAA, state and federal regulations, and accreditation requirements such as The Joint Commission (TJC)Conduct regular audits of patient records, documentation, and treatment plans to maintain quality and complianceParticipate in utilization review meetings, representing patient needs in both clinical and financial considerationsDevelop and implement policies and procedures to improve clinical operations and enhance patient outcomes.Conduct onsite visits and internal audits, assisting with corrective actions as necessaryEducation/ExperienceMasters level licensed clinical therapist (LICSW, LPC, LMFT)Able to be licensed in all 50 states to conduct programming sessions for IOP/PHP servicesMinimum of 3 years in healthcare operations, compliance, policy management, supervision/management of staff and/or MH/SUD PHP and IOP outpatient servicesValid driver's license with a safe driving recordIf in recovery, must have two (2) years of continuous, verifiable sobrietyStrong knowledge of healthcare operations, compliance regulations, including HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, and other outpatient standardsProven ability to manage, develop and implement policies that enhance operational efficiency and regulatory complianceStrong analytical skills with the ability to monitor and report on compliance metrics and ensure adherence across facilitiesExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of staff within the organizationAbility to work independently and collaborate effectively with facility staff and leadership teamsWork Environment/Travel ExpectationsAbility to travel between multiple locations, with overnight stays on a quarterly basis for all sites assigned by VP of operations. Sites may vary based on needs of companyAbility to travel between multiple locations, with overnight stays. Travel can be up to 75-80%.Regular attendance and active participation in corporate meetings and training sessionsAbility to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods while overseeing clinical operationsAbility to work in a fast-paced clinical environment may involve exposure to emotionally charged situationsWe're officially a Great Place to Work!
