Position: Developer Enablement EngineerDuration: 12-month contractLocation: Metro Detroit, MIPay Rate: $70-79.50/hrMust Haves:3+ years of software engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, or developer productivity experienceHands on development experience using scripting languagesExperience working with/or knowledge of CI/CD pipelinesAI assistance or agentic coding experienceStrong communication skillsPlusses:Experiencing designing agentic workflowsExperience designing MCP serversDay to Day:Insight Global is seeking a Developer Enablement Engineer to help accelerate the adoption of AI-powered software development practices across engineering organizations. This role focuses on improving developer productivity through automation, AI-assisted development tools, platform engineering, and software delivery optimization. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineering, platform, architecture, and security teams to create scalable solutions that enhance the developer experience and streamline software delivery processes. 50% of their day will be doing development and coding the other half will be instructing and teaching the teams of engineers on the AI skillsets they will be developing.Compensation:$70/hr to $79.50/hr.Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one ofemployment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance.
