Business IT Onsite Support and Computer Repair Tech

Do you have what we're looking for? We need a teachable person who is capable of self-management, polite, clean appearance, punctual, AND enjoys 8 hours a day of providing support for technology. A real problem solver, someone who won't give up quickly and enjoys being in a small business environment. Looking for IT support technician with background in networking, windows servers/desktops, computer hardware, customer service, onsite support, and remote support. Full-time employee. We are a small business that provides IT support for small businesses and we provide residential computer repair. If you like the small office work environment then this might be a good fit for you. The company car provided for on-site appointments is a GMC Yukon. Personal cars are not used for business on-site appointments. Work hours are 9 AM to 6 PM M - F. skills must include the following: customer service networking fundamentals virus removal problem solving for new issues sufficient hardware knowledge to upgrade and replace computer components comprehension of services and registry Windows 10 and 11 Mac OS DHCP DNS Exchange backup strategies Must be physically capable of getting under desks to hook up cables and carrying desktops and servers. On call every 4th weekend for possible brief remote support incidents. We use a job ticket platform for all job tracking that must be learned for proper daily use. Personality requirement: Must be a friendly "people person" who can convey confidence to new people they meet. Must be someone who isn't quick to give up on a problem, and knows when the time is right to find the best workaround to solve a problem. Must have 3 references that are not peers. Must be willing to submit to background check and drug test. Actual pay will be determined by how strong your knowledge is in these listed skills above. As for the work culture we are conservative and non-woke. Never going to require a vaccine to work here...or a mask.
