Through a highly collaborative culture, Partnership Academy teachers work in teams to provide differentiated and hands-on instruction. Partnership Academy supports its educators to constantly improve their instruction in ways that directly impact students' academic, linguistic, social, and emotional growth.The special education teacher will collaborate to provide exceptional instruction in academic areas for middle school students with a wide variety of disabilities, but primary SLD.The special education teacher will case manage no more than 12 students and complete due process work, including, but not limited to, progress notes and IEP's. Through weekly professional development sessions, formal and informal observations, and frequent feedback, Partnership Academy educators are encouraged and motivated to constantly push themselves to perform at the highest standards. We are looking for a special education teacher who can collaborate effectively with a strong team, including speech/language pathologist, social worker, occupational therapist, classroom teachers, intervention teachers, and associate educators. In addition, the teacher should stay highly engaged with collaborative teaching and mentoring systems of support.Teachers in this position must also ensure they analyze and adapt provided curriculum and teach in a way that supports Minnesota state standards and the student's IEP, effectively collect and interpret data to guide instruction, provide individualized instruction based on student needs, partner with families and guardians to support students, and establish a strong culture of learning.Qualifications:Minnesota Teaching License (Required)Experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse students (Preferred)Spanish speaker (Preferred)Commitment to Equity:
