Position Title: Systems Analyst with deep QA/TestingLocation: Washington, DC 20433Duration: 3 Months – Long-Term Extensions LikelyMust Have: Direct experience with Investran or FIS accounting tools.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented Systems Analyst with deep QA/Testing expertise, ideally with hands-on experience in accounting or portfolio management systems. This role sits at the intersection of business analysis and quality engineering — ideal for professionals who bridge requirements gathering, system workflows, and structured test execution. You will own the full testing lifecycle for financial technology applications, ensuring solutions align with business objectives, regulatory standards, and CMMI practices.What Sets This Role ApartThis is not a pure automation role. We're looking for someone who understands financial system workflows (general ledger, fund accounting, portfolio reconciliation) and can translate that domain knowledge into rigorous test strategies — with automation as a supporting capability, not the sole focus.Required SkillsAutomation testing using Selenium and/or Playwright.Hands-on experience testing accounting, ERP, or financial platforms (e.g., Investran, FIS, Oracle Financials, PeopleSoft, or similar).Strong background in systems analysis writing/reviewing business and functional requirements.Experience developing test plans, test cases, and UAT strategies based on CMMI standards.Ability to reconcile data between source and target systems (data migration testing, cutover validation).Familiarity with defect tracking tools and test management platforms.Preferred Direct experience with Investran or FIS accounting tools.Certifications: ISTQB, CSTE.Exposure to Mercury, QTP, Test Director, or WinRunner.Knowledge of Oracle development environment, Unix, Java, WebSphere.EEO: “Mindlance is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate in employment on the basis of – Minority/Gender/Disability/Religion/LGBTQI/Age/Veterans.”
