Quality Control Technician - 1st ShiftEureka, Missouri, United StatesPrimary Responsibility:Perform various types of inspections on all Maxcess products using granite surface plates with indicator stands, test machines, micrometers, calipers, and other types of check gaugeDuties and Responsibilities:Proof read paperwork and check roll drawing specifications versus customer drawingsPerform Initial and Final clearance checks on tools using indicators on standsAssemble gears on toolsSet up and run a test machinePerform Initial and final inspections / several quality checks on toolsUpdate transactions using oracle and WIP mover programs on the computersOther related duties as assigned to meet departmental and company objectivesMinimum QualificationsKnowledge/Skills/Abilities:Must have strong communication skillsAbility to assimilate and retain quickly a variety of information pertaining to several productsAbility to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectivelyAbility to work with minimal supervisionKnowledge of basic math skillsMust be able to pay close attention to detailsAble to work in a fast paced environmentMust work well under pressureAbility to work well with othersAbility to work well in a team environmentEducation/Experience:High school diploma or equivalentPhysical requirements:Able to lift 35 pounds several times a day with one hand20/20 vision or betterMaxcess is an equal employment opportunity employer.
