Converting Set UP Operator

General Position Scope: This position is responsible for set up and operating Converting machines and associated equipment to safely produce high-quality converting products/bags. Position will include competitive salary, bonus opportunities, full benefits package, and 401k. Job Responsibilities: · Set up and run production machines · Follow simple work instructions, job requirements of product BOM · Put materials into machines · Take finished products off machines · Measure products with a tape measure · Check that products look correct · Maintain a clean and safe work area · Follow the chain of commands to communicate all concerns (safety, quality, production and HR issues) immediately and effectively. · Participate in department activities to continually improve safety, product quality, cost, and delivery. · Submit ideas for continuous improvement for safety, product quality, work area improvements, cost, and delivery. · Other duties as assigned Job Requirements: · Excellent Attendance and Punctuality. · Willing to learn · Able to follow directions · Basic math skills (counting and measuring) · Works well with others · Satisfactorily complete training courses as determined by management · Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation Education and Experience Requirements: · High School diploma or equivalent Physical Requirements: · Lifting/Carrying (minimum of 50 lbs.) · Standing/Walking for long periods (up to 12 hours) Pay: From $21.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) 4% Match 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee assistance program Flexible spending account Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Vision insurance Work Location: In person
