Material Handler
The Material Handler manages physical inventory and ERP data accuracy. Responsibilities include picking and staging orders, loading trailers for construction site delivery, and maintaining an organized, safe warehouse environment to ensure seamless project logistics.
Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations:
Perform receiving inspections to ensure incoming materials meet strict project quality standards.
Load/unload shipments and optimize warehouse storage using a forklift and pallet jacks.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate reordering to prevent site delays.
Logistics & Site Delivery:
Execute daily picking tickets to fulfill material requests for field crews.
Prepare, wrap, and stage materials specifically for safe transit to job sites.
Field Delivery: Coordinate and transport materials to the job site, ensuring all items are delivered to the correct zone and signed off by the receiving foreman.
Administrative Accuracy:
Maintain real-time inventory accuracy by logging all material movements into our ERP system.
Manage and organize all shipping manifests, delivery slips, and internal transfer documents.
Ensure all documentation is compliant with project reporting requirements.
Certification: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (required).
Experience: Previous experience in a construction/industrial warehouse environment (semiconductor or electrical field experience is highly preferred).
Logistics Skills: Experience in inventory management, picking/packing, and delivery logistics.
Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using ERP systems for data entry and maintaining digital records.
Reliability: Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record (required for transporting materials to job sites).
Communication: Ability to coordinate effectively with project managers and site superintendents to ensure on-time delivery of materials.
Language: Bilingual (English & Mandarin) is a plus.
