DescriptionAs a Retail Associate, a typical day might include the followingWelcoming and engaging with customers as they enter the storeAssessing customers' needs and suggesting solutions to their problemsGeneral cash handling. Working with cash registers and processing paymentsSetting and attaining sales goalsGiving customers advice about sales and promotionsUsing upselling techniques to increase store salesPromoting CardVault in a positive and professional mannerRecommending the best products to customersCleaning and restocking the store throughout the day, before opening and after closingOther duties as assignedRequirementsThis job might be for you if you demonstrate the following abilities and meet the following qualifications:A general comprehensive knowledge of and/or passion for trading cardsMinimum of one-year of relevant retail, trading or sports industry-related experience requiredHigh school Diploma/GEDExcellent organizational, verbal, interpersonal and ability to communicate effectively with guests, team members and managementMust have the ability to meet or exceed sales, guest service standardsMust be comfortable working and speaking with the publicMust have basic computer skillsAbility to work weekends, evenings and holidaysAbility to maneuver around sales floor, stock room, and ability lift/carry up to 30 lbsClear understanding of retail metrics including key performance indicators necessary to drive salesPhysical Demands / Work Environment / Hours:The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
