Experience the Quality Collision Group difference.Job SummaryThe Blueprint Technician plays a critical role in the collision repair process by performing detailed vehicle assessments, creating accurate repair plans, and ensuring all necessary parts and labor are identified at the start of the repair. This role supports efficient workflow, reduces supplements, and ensures repairs meet manufacturer and insurance guidelines.Responsibilities Essential FunctionsPerform thorough vehicle tear-downs to identify all damages and necessary repairs.Document and photograph damages for repair orders and insurance requirements.Create detailed and accurate repair plans ("blueprints") in line with OEM and DRP standards.Identify and order necessary parts to support efficient production flow.Communicate repair plans with estimators, production managers, and technicians.Update repair plans as needed to address supplements or additional findings.Ensure repairs meet safety standards and industry best practices.Support shop productivity by reducing delays caused by incomplete or inaccurate estimates.Prior experience in collision repair or estimating required.Knowledge of OEM repair procedures, CCC (or other estimating software), and DRP processes preferred.Strong mechanical and technical understanding of vehicle systems.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Effective communication skills with team members and insurance partners.Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.Ability to perform complete vehicles inspections and tear – downsFrequently standing, bending, and lifting automotive parts (up to 50 lbs).Comfortable working in a fast – paced shop environment.BenefitsMedical InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceLife InsurancePaid Holidays, Vacation & Sick Days401(k) with employer matchPaid Training
