The organization values professionals who are motivated to grow with a practice at the forefront of interventional pain management.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Physician Assistant role based in Northern California, CA. The Physician Assistant will conduct comprehensive patient assessments, obtain histories, perform focused physical exams, and assist in treatment of surgical patients in collaboration with our spine surgeon. Day-to-day responsibilities include ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, documenting encounters in the electronic health record, and providing patient education on procedures, medications, and ongoing treatment strategies. The Physician Assistant will coordinate care with the supervising physician and clinic staff, support follow-up visits, monitor treatment response and side effects, and contribute to a safe, efficient, and patient-focused clinical workflow.Qualifications Active, unrestricted Physician Assistant license in California and current NCCPA certification.Demonstrated clinical skills in patient assessment, diagnostic reasoning, and management of acute and chronic conditions, as it relates to interventional pain management, orthopedics, and spine surgery.Proficiency with electronic health records, accurate documentation, and basic computer skills needed in a modern clinical setting.Strong interpersonal, communication, and patient counseling abilities, with a commitment to empathetic, culturally sensitive, and trauma-informed care.Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, follow established protocols, and exercise sound clinical judgment with appropriate supervision.Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS and experience assisting with interventional procedures are preferred.Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program; prior outpatient or pain management experience is strongly preferred but motivated early-career candidates will be considered.Ability to work on-site in Northern California on a full-time schedule, with reliability, professionalism, and adherence to all regulatory and infection-control standards.
