MDHA is a housing authority, a community development agency, and aredevelopment agency.Position SummaryUnder the direction of the Director of Rental Assistance or their designee, the HousingChoice Voucher (HCVP) Financial Analyst performs complex and technical accounting andfinancial management work to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of allfinancial activities associated with the Housing Choice Voucher and related programs.This role supports both the Rental Assistance and Finance Department by assisting withmonthly Housing Assistance Payment (HAP) runs, reconciling landlord and participantaccounts, and ensuring program funds are properly allocated and reported in accordancewith HUD requirements.The Financial Analyst is also responsible for monitoring and maintaining HUD’s Two-YearTool to track utilization, forecasting, and funding reserves, as well as analyzing andreporting the department’s financial net position to ensure long-term fiscal sustainability.
