Facility is seeking Gastroenterologist to join team- Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00a-4:30p (outpatient); ideally 1 full time physician in office and 1 full time physician in Endo suite (located in hospital OR; 3-rooms) rotating weeks; will likely work part time physician schedule around this- Setting: Hospital employed; recently renovated practice- Practice Staffing Model: Increased census; currently 1 full time physician and 1 part time physician, would like to add an additional full time physician; 1 full time APP and 2 part time APPs- Call Required: 7-days of ED call per month are required in base contract (includes 5 week days and 2 weekend days); additional weekend coverage (ideally 2 weekends a month) are provided by local private physicians (Friday 7a through Monday 7a); additional week day coverage is ideally covered by local private physicians OR employed physicians and paid at $1,000/night (ED call mirrors the schedule in Endo); typically call is resolved with a phone call and prepped for the next day- High volume practice - physicians see approximately 20 ppd with support in practice; approximately 15-scopes per day and available for inpatient consult when scheduled in the hospital- Types of Procedures/Cases: Bread and butter GI (screenings, GI bleeds, recall on polyps, etc.); ERCP is a plus; no capabilities for EUS but open to discussion- EMR: Meditech- Highly competitive salary ($725k, possibly more with ERCP capabilities plus wRVU)- Sign-on bonus ($100k), reimbursement for relocation (up to $10k with receipts) and student loans ($30k over length of contract) (if applicable)- Competitive paid time off and CME time off (34 days including 6 legal holidays)- Comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, vision, 403B, life and disability- Annual CME, dues and licensure reimbursement ($5,500)- Malpractice paid for- H VISA OK J VISA OK
