Position: Data Scientist LCAT: SeniorLocation: Reston, VirginiaThis position is contingent upon award.Required clearance: TS/SCI with willingness to take CI poly. Candidates with current CI poly taken within the past seven years will be prioritized.Required experience: At least 8 yearsRequired education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or relevant field and 5+ years relevant experienceDescription Nalley Consulting has an opportunity for an experienced Data Scientist to support on-going research and development efforts for functional characterization of WMD facilities and their associated design.The successful candidate will:Provide data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence support.Conduct data engineering tasks to integrate multiple APIs, and support process automation, data visualization, and application integration.Develop tools to automate data analysis of large data sets. Requirements:4+ years of experience using programming languages, including Python, R, or Java, to manipulate and analyze data Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or relevant fieldDemonstrated ability to work effectively within or lead a team of peers, as well as excellent interpersonal and communications skillsAbility to communicate highly technical analyses at a level comprehensible to laymen and senior-level government representativesAbility to clearly express in writing technical analysis resultsCombining multiple date sources into GUI (graphic user interface) and visual and geographical displays.Python and Tableau experience.Experience with data exploration, data cleaning, data analysis, data visualization, or data miningExperience with analyzing structured and unstructured data sourcesExperience with statistical and general-purpose programming languages for data analysisExperience with developing predictive data models, quantitative analyses, and visualization of target data sourcesExperience with leading the development of solutions to complex problemsExperience with natural language processing, text mining, or machine learning techniquesExperience implementing automation in processing, presenting, or manipulating dataOther desired skills:Demonstrated ability writing ICD 203 and ICD 206-compliant finished intelligence production15 years of experience in solving DoD data science problems Experience in the development of algorithms leveraging Python and SQLExperience with developing solutions incorporating Large Language ModelsExperience with Python data science and visualization packagesExperience with Excel MBAExperience with AC2SP, R, GitHub, and PalantirAn active CI polygraph
