Job Description Description:This role requires strong leadership, construction management expertise, and the ability to coordinate complex projects involving heavy equipment, environmental considerations, and asset disposition activities.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Management Lead all phases of decommissioning, demolition, and asset recovery projects from mobilization through project closeout.Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.Coordinate field operations, subcontractors, vendors, and internal project teams.Monitor project progress and proactively address schedule, cost, and operational challenges.Ensure all project deliverables meet client expectations and contractual requirements.Field Operations Oversee daily construction and decommissioning activities.Conduct site inspections to verify work quality, productivity, and compliance.Manage equipment deployment, logistics, and workforce planning.Coordinate utility disconnections, facility shutdowns, dismantling activities, and site restoration efforts.Ensure proper handling and disposition of recovered assets and recyclable materials.Safety & Compliance Promote and enforce a strong safety culture across all project sites.Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, environmental requirements, and company safety policies.Conduct safety meetings, job hazard analyses, and site audits.Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions as needed.Maintain project documentation related to safety, permits, and regulatory compliance.Client & Stakeholder Management Serve as the primary field representative for clients, consultants, and regulatory agencies.Provide regular project updates and progress reports.Manage change orders, scope modifications, and project documentation.Build and maintain strong client relationships to support future business opportunities.Financial Management Monitor project budgets, cost tracking, and forecasting.Review subcontractor invoices and approve project expenditures.Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies.Support estimating and project planning efforts for future work.QualificationsRequired 5+ years of construction management, demolition, decommissioning, industrial maintenance, or related project management experience.Strong understanding of construction means and methods, scheduling, and budgeting.Knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety practices.Experience managing subcontractors and field crews.Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to travel to project sites as required.Valid driver's license and clean driving record.Preferred Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.Experience in industrial facility decommissioning, demolition, asset recovery, or environmental remediation.OSHA 30-Hour Certification.Experience with project management software and scheduling tools.Knowledge of scrap recycling, equipment disposition, and asset recovery processes.Physical Requirements Ability to work in active construction, demolition, and industrial environments.Ability to walk project sites, climb stairs and ladders, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).What We Offer Competitive salary and performance-based incentives.Health, dental, and vision insurance.Paid time off and company holidays.Professional development and advancement opportunities.Opportunity to work on unique, large-scale industrial decommissioning and asset recovery projects across North America.About Destructable Destructable specializes in industrial decommissioning, demolition, asset recovery, and sustainable disposition solutions.
