Network Modeling & Simulation Engineer
Overview
In this role you will lead advanced analysis of C3 architectures and network-enabled workflows to inform DoW decision-making. You will translate concepts into digital or simulation representations and build architectural products for senior leaders. You’ll develop and integrate mission-level simulations to assess performance, resilience, and feasibility, contributing across IAMD, Global Fires, and JADC2. This is a onsite, mid-level position focused on delivering rigorous, actionable insights that advance technological superiority.

ResponsibilitiesLead advanced analysis of C3 architectures, information exchange pathways, and network-enabled workflows across DoW systemsConceptualize, design, and evaluate technology integration concepts with clear architectural representationsDevelop digital architectural representations and integrate capabilities into mission-level simulationsPerform M&S analyses to assess operational impacts, system performance, resilience, and feasibilityGuide concept maturation and synchronize products with joint kill chain frameworksContribute expertise across IAMD, Global Fires, and JADC2Independently plan analytic tasks and supervise translation of concepts into simulation environments (AFSIM, ArcherEye, STORM)Present analytical findings to senior leadership with clarity and precision
Key requirementsActive TS/SCI clearanceBachelor’s degree in mathematics, operations research, computer science, engineering, or related technical field7+ years of experience analyzing complex systems, operational architectures, or C3/IAMD/JADC2 mission threadsExperience developing architecture artifacts for future system integrationProven experience leading or conducting M&S using quantitative toolsAbility to convert operational concepts into digital or simulation representationsStrong communication skills to explain complex ideas to senior non-technical audiencesAbility to work fully onsite at SPA HQ (Alexandria, VA)Strong communication and cross-functional collaborationAbility to explain complex technical ideas to senior non-technical audiencesIndependently planning analytic tasks and coordinating with technical teammatesModeling, Simulation, and Analysis (M&S) using quantitative toolsArchitecture artifact development for future system integrationExperience with mission-level M&S tools (AFSIM, ArcherEye, STORM, Command PE)
