Working with these materials requires a high degree of precision and care to prevent surface damage and ensure perfect angles.If you are a detail-oriented craftsman who understands the nuances of light-to-medium gauge metals and has experience with high-end machinery, we want to hear from you.Key ResponsibilitiesSpecialized Operation: Set up and operate CNC Brake Press machines specifically for Stainless Steel and Aluminum projects.Material Handling: Handle sensitive materials with care to ensure "no-mar" finishes on high-grade aluminum and stainless surfaces.Precision Bending: Account for material "spring-back" and thickness variations unique to different alloys.Quality Inspection: Use calipers, micrometers, and protractors to maintain tight tolerances and ensure every bend meets blueprint specifications.Tooling Selection: Choose the correct dies and punches to avoid "ironing" or marking the outer radius of the metal.QualificationsExperience: Proven history operating Brake Presses with a heavy emphasis on Stainless Steel and Aluminum.Technical Skills: Ability to read complex blueprints and understand bend deductions/allowances.Machine Knowledge: Experience with Amada or Trumpf machines is a major plus.Precision: Expert proficiency with precision measuring tools.Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for the duration of the shift and lift up to 50 lbs.Reliability: Consistent attendance for the 2nd shift (3:30 PM - 12:30 AM) in Batavia.Why Join This Team?This is a great opportunity for an operator who takes pride in high-finish work.
