Billing Specialist

Position SummaryThis position is responsible for client billing and client account maintenance.Job Duties And ResponsibilitiesBill clients monthly for assigned attorneys within the paperless 3E workflow systemGenerate and proof invoices for accuracyMail, email, or electronically submit invoices to clientsCommunicate with assigned attorneys and secretaries regarding status of monthly billingUpdate client and matter information within the 3E systemAssist attorneys and secretaries with inquiriesSet up electronic billing as neededEdit time and cost entries as instructedResearch details of expenses and credits on a client accountAssist with special projects as assigned by attorneys or managerJob duties and responsibilities are not exhaustive and may be supplemented as necessary. The hourly wage range for this role is outlined below, with corresponding estimated annual compensation based on standard weekly hours:Pittsburgh/Denver/Atlanta/Dallas/Houston - $22.60- $26.44 per hour (40-hour workweek; approximately $47,000 - $55,000 annually)Miami - $24.10 - $28.20 per hour (37.5-hour workweek; approximately $47,000 - $55,000 annually)Philadelphia - $24.03 - $28.84 per hour (40-hour workweek; approximately $50,000 - $60,000 annually)Chicago - $27.47 - $28.84 per hour (35-hour workweek; approximately $50,000 - $60,000 annually)Princeton/Washington DC - $25.48 - $$30.28 per hour (40-hour workweek, approximately $53,000 - $63,000 annually)This represents the presently anticipated low and high end of Reed Smith's pay range for this position.
