present solution options with pros/cons and effort estimates.Facilitate workshops, create functional/technical specifications, anddrive stakeholder sign offs.Development & ConfigurationDesign data models (domains, attributes, hierarchies, classifications,relationships) and configure workflows, business/validation rules, andlifecycle states.Implement imports/exports, publications/syndications, and user interfacecomponents (roles, permissions, web UI).IntegrationBuild integrations with ERP/eCommerce/PLM/DAM systems using REST/SOAPAPIs and file based interfaces, design canonical data structures anderror handling.Data Quality & GovernanceImplement data quality rules, stewardship processes, match/mergestrategies, and reference data management to improve completeness,consistency, and accuracy.Performance, Reliability & SecurityOptimize STEP jobs, indexing and caching; perform root cause analysis;harden configurations for security and auditability.DevOps & Release ManagementSet up environment promotion, configuration transport/versioning, CI/CDpipelines, and deployment automation; maintain documentation.Customer Communication & Change ManagementProvide clear status updates, risk/issue logs, and release notes; createtraining materials and conduct enablement for business users.Essential Skills:STIBO STEP (11.x) Expertise: Strong hands on experience with STEPcomponents—data modeling, workflows, business/validation rules,import/export, publication/syndication, roles/permissions, and UIconfiguration.Programming & Scripting: Proficiency in Java (or JVM-based), SQL,XML/XSD, XPath/XSLT; comfort with API development/consumption(REST/SOAP).Integration & ETL: Experience integrating STEP with enterprise systems(e.g., SAP/Oracle ERP, eCommerce platforms) using APIs, message queuesor ETL tools (Informatica/Talend or similar).Relational Databases: Strong SQL skills and experience with Oracle/MSSQL/PostgreSQL.Communication: Crisp written/verbal communication; ability to presentsolutions to customer stakeholders and build consensus.Self Starter Mindset: Works independently, plans sprints, unblocks self,and drives tasks to closure with minimal supervision.Desireable Skills:Domain Knowledge: ManufacturingCloud & DevOps: Experience deploying/operating STEP on Azure, containers(Docker/Kubernetes), and CI/CD (Azure DevOps/Jenkins/Git).Data Governance: Familiarity with stewardship models, data quality KPIs,and audit/compliance practices.Tools: Jira/Confluence/Git;
