It's a Hybrid position, need locals to Dimondale, MI.We are seeking a skilled Mainframe Systems Developer to maintain and support legacy systems. The role involves programming, testing, implementation, and providing technical support. Key responsibilities include assisting in data gathering, interpreting legacy code, managing special projects, and ensuring proper change management. This position requires the ability to work independently, communicate technical information clearly, and collaborate with team members.Key Responsibilities:Maintain and support mainframe systems.Develop and modify COBOL applications.Perform secure coding, release management, and system documentation.Assist in gathering requirements and developing applications.Lead technical meetings and ensure proper change management.Provide technical support and mentoring to team members.Skills Required:COBOL, Xgen, Algol, Unisys, and DMSII experience.Strong communication, leadership, and technical documentation skills.Experience with project estimation and problem resolution.Preferred Experience:Familiarity with COMS, WFL, ERGO, and other mainframe tools.
