Quarry Plant Operator/Maintenance

This is a day shift position through the Laborers 110 Union. Candidates must be dependable and available to work overtime as needed. Ideal candidates would be experienced with general manufacturing processes and/or heavy equipment operation and maintenance, but we are happy to train those with the proper mindset and work ethic.This position typically works Monday through Friday - with occasional Saturdays depending on peak season needs.Plant Operator/Maintenance candidate requirements:Safety-FocusedStrong mechanical aptitudeExperience with general manufacturing processes and/or operating/maintaining heavy equipment.Ability to perform rigorous physical activities in all weather conditionsSelf-motivated with a solid work ethicMajor Plant Operator/Maintenance responsibilities include:Follow all safety and environmental rules, regulations and procedures as set forth by company policies and MSHAPerform preventive maintenance, repairs and/or clean equipment as neededWhile crushing plant is in operation this position will walk around and observe crushers and conveyors for proper functionPerform clean up using manual means along with operating skid steerAssist fellow crew members with plant mode changesOperate and monitor all equipment and production in safe and efficient mannerCommunicate with plant management team on all safety, maintenance, and production needsPerform other tasks as assigned by supervisorAt Central Stone, we offer a competitive wage and benefits package.
